You sound just like a friend of mine, except he’s taking advantage of his retirement to travel even more. So instead there’s barely a Skype conversation that goes by without him mentioning the idea of me getting a kitten. I get the impression he’s looking for something vicarious from the prospect! (Actually, he freely admits to the vicarious thing!)
