That’s an interesting idea.

I suppose we should be grateful their ideas don’t get more traction. We can do without a cultural revolution that kills those who don’t comply. There’s no telling what such fanatics would deem acceptable if they had power.

I think these conspiracy nut-cases act like they are competing against terrorists, vying for public notice and attention, trying to sound louder than a suicide bomber.

I’m reading DeLillo’s Mao II and it is very compelling so that’s what I came up with.

Trevor Noah’s piece was brilliant.

I mean the sudden reversal on the Syria regime policy is unusual for this administration. But it looks more like a political tactic than real reversal. Saying no to regime change just after a chemical attack would look bad politically. Also, every president has to cater to the establishment cause to get a chance to establish his agenda.
