In reply to Heather Hastie. Yes, our cricket teams (T20, ODI and Test) are all called The Proteas, as is our national netball team. Not 'or', but 'and'. Spot on. I know there are some endemic protea-like plants in Western Australia, not just introductions. I find that fascinating. I promise I'll search into Chile's possible protea-likes too.

Your shorter posts is a good suggestion. It’s a big reason I don’t get proper posts out more often – they get longer and longer as I try and cover all facets. I never do of course. There are always things I forget or haven’t considered.

I’m sure your readership will appreciate whatever format or style you find comfortable. I don’t see how daily bloggers keep it up. Perhaps a regular schedule that is less ambitious than seven days per week would work. Perhaps original content would be more manageable if broken down into a series of shorter posts over several days.

I suspect there are some things that could come out about Sessions past re racism that could destroy him. It’s hard to tell if someone like that has genuinely changed. If he has, good on him. However, a lot of what he’s doing in his current job is pretty ugly and not getting a lot of attention because his boss dominates the news cycle.
