I hadn’t noticed the gun, and you’re right, I wouldn’t have posted it. I doubt anyone in NZ ever skated with a gun either.

It does seem very high to be Scotland. Scotland was my first thought, but the mountains in the distance made me wonder. No trees and highlands is not that common a combination. There are small parts of the South Island of NZ like that, but the mountains are too far away for it to be here.

I hadn’t seen that beating. There will be a lot more beatings to come, and I wouldn’t be surprised if more murders are committed; Trump is ensuring that. And the healthcare travesty obviously adds to the absurdity of this country’s immoral and greedy heart. At least it won’t burden this poor victim since others have stepped up.

I knew of Hachicō’s story from WEIT iirc. Even though I knew the story, the video was still somewhat blurry throughout. Damn onions. 🙂

That’s the sort of skater pic I remember too; I used to skate with a bunch of buddies during the eighties on the fat boards. I will say this though; no one in our crew carried handguns like Easy E is doing in the photo. (I have a feeling you wouldn’t have posted it if you noticed the pistol.)

My initial reaction to the “Highland” photo was that it didn’t look like Scotland to me, but hard to tell unless one has personally visited that spot. On further reflection, it could be part of the Cuillin ridge, on Skye, which has a combination of jagged peaks and easy ridge paths. I’ve been through Google Images of the Cuillin Ridge, but can’t find that one.
