"Damaged Goods", I think preventing that is clearly the motive behind Mahmoud al-Kharabhse's ideas. I do not think he means evil, and he probably thinks himself a kind of generous liberal, I guess. And given the circumstances of a deeply misogynistic society -as Islamic societies are- I can hardly blame him.
Note that 'hymen repair' surgery is a blooming business in Islamic circles...

I'm not sure why no one's commenting, except I wonder if it's a subject where people are just too scared of saying the wrong thing, especially if they're male. Rape has been weaponized by the far left, so that no one's even sure if you're even allowed to say rape "victim" any more. The word rape is applied to all sorts of situations, like all opponents are compared to Hitler, and everyone is a survivor. People aren't even allowed their own reaction to it happening any more. Thirty years ago, if you "survived" you were either lying about it happening, or a whore. On becoming "damaged goods" you were supposed to go into a depression about no man ever respecting or wanting you again, and spend the rest of your life terrified.

When each person is allowed their own response, and each is considered equally valid, we might have got somewhere.

Of course, as long as religion dominates a society, especially one that positively revels in dominating women like Islam, there's not much hope.

I'm kinda shocked there are no responses here. Maybe there is so much to comment upon that one doesn't know where to begin?
Abd al Aziz Fazwan Al-Fazwan, does he journey into the deepest pit? Mahmoud al-Kharabshe? Or the Trilogy itself? I tend to the latter.
If we are Islamophobic it is for good reason, hence not really 'phobic', since the fear is far from irrational.
