I am not a US woman. I was born in New Zealand and have lived here all my life.

I treat people like individuals; I don't judge them by what country they come from, and I don't assume all people from a particular country will be good or bad because of my previous experience with one of them.

And he is absolutely right. Whats there to love about american women? American women, and western women in general are very promiscuous, loose and unfaithful to their husbands. They also treat men like shit and have no respect for them. Why would a man who respect himself will want to marry a woman like american women, who will treat him like sh*t, cheat him with everything that moves and takes half of everything he has worked hard for his all life, after cheating on him? Why should men put up with the crap of american women when there are much better options ovearseas?

Oh you know it all. So you know the guy even if you have never met him and you know it for a fact that he hates women and doesnt want them to be equal to him, even though he didnt make comments as such? He is speaking from his experience. American women have treated him like shit while non american women have been nice to him. Maybe because us non-american women dont hate men like you american women do?

You say he is not worth to criticize, yet you dedicate him an entire article. He makes good points. American women and western women in general are exactly like that: loud, arrogant, unfaithful to their husband, promiscuous, loose and useless. You dont stand a chance with eastern and southern women.

In reply to The Real Truth.

It seems to me that the men who like the original 'Boycott American Women', which my post was commenting on, were the ones with unrealistic standards. They expected women to meet an unrealistic ideal. At the same time, those women had to act however men wanted them to, and have no independent thoughts, opinions, or actions.

You do not actually know what women were like "back in the day" because you weren't there. I suspect you're looking at the period with rose-tinted glasses. It was probably easier to find a wife for men who wanted to control women because women had so few options. They were expected to marry and have children whether they wanted to or not, and they were also expected to marry at a younger age. Further, if they discovered they were in a marriage that was physically or emotionally abusive, they could rarely escape, especially if they had children.

When I was a kid, I loved the show 'Bewitched'. It's currently on TV in NZ again. I still love it, but am horrified by the way Darrin treats Samantha. For example, the way he forbids her to perform magic unless it suits him. As far as he is concerned he has the right to do that. At that time, the way he treated her i.e. completely dominating her identity as a person, was not seen as problematic. These days, thankfully, the script would reflect that their love for one another helped them overcome things like the way he wants to change who she is, just as she shouldn't try to change who he is. Real life relationships just aren't like the one Darrin and Samantha had, and they shouldn't be. You don't seem to get that the modern world has moved on. You're making yourselves miserable by refusing to move with it, and blaming women for it.

In reply to ascension3030.

You are clearly not open to anything I've said. Just like most of the other men, you seem to think I'm one of the radical feminists that they think all women are. I don't remember using the term "mansplaining" anywhere, and it's an extremely rare part of my lexicon.

If 33% of women are on chemical help, that means 67% aren't. Female empowerment has not had the effect of eroding Western society. Society is much stronger because of it. Do you really think those countries where women are chattels are better off than the West? Women were not happier when men were always in control, and your assumptions as to why women need chemical help are just those - assumptions. In the past, for example, spousal abuse was "just a domestic". And yes, I know men suffer too from that, and it's wrong that they do. It's also the case that they've always been able to escape from it much easier than women.

I'm not failing to consider the points put forward, and I appreciate those of the commenters who haven't become abusive when discussing the issues. Like you, most of the men here declare that they are correct and I am wrong, and therefore I am abusing them to disagree with them. You will notice I hope that I haven't resorted to ad hominem attacks before someone does it to me. It seems with some that simply questioning their pov is an attacck.

With most I don't see a willingness to engage on the issues, but a need to get something off their chest. They have had a bad experience/s (for which I am genuinely sorry) and they have let that colour their view of all women without looking to see whether part of the problem might have been with their own behaviour. Relationships need to be worked at by both participants.
