I saw the interview live – I often watch Megyn Kelly’s show. It was a very enjoyable interview.

The comment he made about being able to shoot someone in the middle of Fifth Avenue and not lose any support isn’t funny because it’s true. His supporters are blind to his faults. Almost every day on Fox’s The Five I hear Eric Bolling acting as an apologist for him. Co-hosts and fellow Republicans Dana Perino and Greg Gutfeld challenge what Bolling is saying constantly, but Bolling’s admiration for Trump isn’t dented.

And I don’t think it’s just if a Democrat ran away either – if any other Republican ran from the debate because of a previous skirmish with a moderator, he (or she) would be destroyed. Trump gets away with it. If he can’t be professional enough to attend a debate in these circumstances, he is simply not capable of running a country, especially when it comes to foreign affairs. He insists he’ll bring people together – how can he bring people together when he doesn’t show up himself.
