In reply to Dennis Mitton. In 2008 I hoped Hillary would win. I was enormously impressed by Obama, but thought him too inexperienced. I thought he would be great to build up for 2016, and get the Democrats in for a second eight years. I haven't decided what I think about Sanders yet, but I haven't really looked into him yet either.

I’m finding the Dems a bit boring really – not sure there’s much to say at this stage. I’m 50/50 on Biden. It would be good for the party if he got in, but not sure it would be good for him.

I’ve always liked that Kasich at least appears to want to govern well. Most other candidates are just waiting to sell a book. Trump laughs himself to sleep with all the panic he creates around himself. I would say that it’s all a waste of time as the election is in the pocket of Clinton. But I thought the same thing eight years ago when she ran against a group of people that no one had ever heard of. I say let’s give Sanders a try and see what real socialism looks like.
