Day 14 of top tweets. That’s two weeks! I’m quite proud of myself for keeping it going! All the nice comments are a great encouragement. Thank you all for your support. It means a lot to me.

I’ve veered of track a little today by putting in a couple of Facebook posts of animals hanging out at Shepreth Wildlife Park in England. You can see they’re not worrying about the terrorism, racism, fascism, or violence the rest of us are!

In the Political Tweets section I’ve indulged myself by including a few of my own tweets from yesterday.

This one wasn’t too popular – too many people are too angry right now to think like this. I get that. I might feel the same if it was happening in my country. Still, I think this is where we on the left need to be.

 

Trump’s too busy trying to prove he’s right and score points to act like a leader should in a crisis. Therefore, even if he weren’t a white supremacist, the type of man he is means he would still be sending out this message.

 

This was clearly hard work to get through! And this isn’t even all he’s got wrong, just the most obvious stuff. There’s a whole lot more than this, and who knows what we’re going to find out when the findings of the Russia probe come out.

There are so many lovely buildings in Europe. When my mother went to Europe she said there were so many it got to the point she was sick of them. I don’t think I would. I’d love to find out!

In case any of you don’t know, Donald Trump’s constant reference to General Pershing dipping bullets in pigs’ blood before killing Muslims is a load of rubbish. Of course, given the proportion of lies to truth that he utters, it’s fairly safe to assume that of any story that sounds a bit dodgy.

    I’ve been enjoying your daily compendium, and make time to explore your offerings. Though I don’t comment much, rest assured I’m ‘into’ it and appreciate it. I happened to click through one of the Planet… images and on the Twitter site I found a charming one of an elephant caught on a security camera picking up trash with its trunk and depositing it into a trash can can. Not once, but it seemed to be picking up all the litter nearby that didn’t make it into the can. What a responsible citizen! A lesson for me! It’s hit and miss when I try to give the link to a specific twitter image, so interested parties will have to click through the first image above and it should come right up though dated July 19. Alex Jones needs to be on a leash.

      Thanks for the kind words. That tweet is permanently pinned to the top of their page. I haven’t used it because it’s an old one, but I’ll add it in tomorrow. It is a cool video.

    FYI, the person holding all the kitties is photoshopped…I think there are 5 kittens, 4 of which were cloned a few times. Still cute though. 😉

    That CNN report of Trump’s last 4 weeks is insane…so much shit has matched coordinates with the fan. How long can this go on?

      Yeah, Jerry said the same thing about the kittens being photoshopped, and once he pointed it out it made sense. That many kittens wouldn’t stay together in an armful – the middle ones would slide out.

      As for Trump, I’ve been trying to write about that for a while. I can do tweets posts on bad days, but not proper writing, and posts aren’t getting finished. Anyway, I’m going to try and do more this afternoon. Basically, if Trump doesn’t resign, you’ll have to find enough Republicans with the courage to impeach once the Mueller probe is done, and that will take time.
